    Back in September, during their promotional press tour, WBO junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri gave a stone necklace to Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach.

    Algieri, who has a master’s degree in nutrition from Stony Brook University, wears the exact same necklace and claims the stones help create positive energy and provide health benefits. Roach suffers from Parkinson’s syndrome.
