These are true statements. I think Chinese do not seem to really like Filipinos for some reason. They sort of look down on them.

Unless you have the stature of a Bruce Lee or a Jackie Chan, Asians don't automatically root for Asians. Malysians will not necessarily root for Chinese, Japanese, etc. Or Thais for Filipinos, Filipinos for Chinese... Asian culture is not monolithic. It's as diverse as Europe's. The Chinese audience will definitely root for Algieri. All they care about is Zou Shiming's fight.
