The other nights fight (or lack there of) just strengthens the facts that Wlad is a one dimentional limited fellow who would have a lot of trouble with a pressure fighter like Frazier! Frazier would pressure right away and his head movement is NOTHING like these horrible opponents that Wlad fights! They offer NO defensive skills and never punch off their defense the way that Frazier would!
Don't compare the Frazier vs Forman bout because Foreman is a minimalist
boxer who has a lot more ring savvy than Wlad will ever have.
Question here is what happens when Frazier goes under Wlad and the left hook comes up and hits Wlad chin??? The main question I have about Wlad other than him not really improving through the years is his ability to take a good shot!!! When he gets hit he has a lost expression and I've seen that many times when green fighters get hit. He has a tendency to look down too.
Bottom line is that both of these men are limited and one dimensional the
differences between them is that Frazier has a much stronger constitution and he won't tire. We know Wlad will tire while he's winning, what will he do when he's pressured effectively!
I think it would be a great fight and it could be a co-feature with Liston vs Tyson. A great night at the Garden in NYC oh yeah both bouts will be 10 rds!
Ray.

pre manny wlad may have had big problems but I think the post manny wlad would have wore frazier out with his size and power. frazier would have been clicnhed and leaned on when in close. I just think wlad would have been too big and strong much like foreman was

1. It would be NOTHING like Foreman/Frazier. Nothing at all. Ridiculous to suggest it would be, Wlad fights NOTHING like Foreman, especially not against someone who would be on his ass like Frazier. Wlad would be clinching for dear life like a drunk dude who wandered onto a ledge hugs the side of a building.
2. That clinching would probably make the difference, and eventually Frazier gets worn down and stopped. If you could guarantee me Wlad can't cheat, I'd favor Frazier.

Neither was he KOed proper in the Puritty fight either. Despite fighting 20 times, he'd flogged out every opponent within 4 rounds, mostly in the 1st. Puritty was the first time he'd been stretched so far.
Despite these 2 losses, Wladimir 1 sidedly bashed both these opponents until the bitter end. The only reason either of them survived long enough was because both have 2 of the hardest chins of all time as evidenced by their careers.
WK has taken monster bombs throughout his career from monstrous punchers, been dropped a few other times but always came back to win. His chin is strong DESPITE coming in so fine, which obviously leaves his chin weaker than if he came in chubbier. He can afford to come in so athletic because he is so good he barely gets hit anyway!
Joe Frazier lost 2ce to 2 guys.
One of them was a totally reflexless, defenceless punching bag who could do little but hold on for grim death and could not punch successfully through the surface tension of water. Any modern boxer would have wasted Ali but because Frazier had no punch, he failed to knock out this guy over all those rounds! Pathetic!
The other one was much bigger and stronger than Frazier but had no appreciable boxing skills whatsoever. He didn't even LEARN how to box until he was in his 40's! Because Frazier was a defenceless punch bag half blind midget, Froeman was able to throw his arms left and right until his opponent fell over. That was Froeman's genius plan to undo Frazier.
LEt me point out that Foreman at 218lbs was 10lbs LESS than the AVERAGE HW boxer today and nearly 20lbs! LESS than Wladimir Klitschko's average opponent.
Today we would consider Froeman a SMALL boxer! Smaller than Bryant Jennings! Bottom 10 Wladimir's smallers opponent and bottom 3 Vitali's! Today we would call him LITTLE George Foreman. Reasonably tall, but fairly skinny.
And no 220lb HW boxer can ever get away with being as unskilled as Foreman was now.
The fact that these guys are considered ATG's is complete proof of how bad Frazier's era really was!
I've seen Frazier throw an enormous volume of punches for 15 rounds and I've seen Wlad do it for 3 rounds but unfortunately he gassed out letting Lamon Brewster **** his **** up.
If Wlad can't muster the courage to walk down former cruiserweight Eddie Chamber's for 12 rounds how exactly would he do it with Frazier?

Tua was way too short and had too short of a reach to trouble prime Wlad. He had a chin to possibly survive but that's abiut it. Wlad could easily beat anyone on that list on the right day.
How can you defend a guy who survives by slowing the fight down with unnecessary clinches and avoiding exchanges at all cost.
