provo is ten times the hype job broner is.
is broner special? not yet, but he may one day be. broner has legitimate potential despite the fact that so far much of it is unfulfilled. he has tremendous athletic ability in all facets. he also does have great skills in some areas, although his skills are lacking in other areas.
but most importantly he has the mind of a fighter, "i feel like im playing chess and these other guys are playing checkers". is he as smart as he thinks he is? of course not, but ta least he gets the point to this game. its the sweet science, a thinking mans game. broners ******ation is due to his immature personality, provo is just a brute.
in fact provo aint ****. what does he have? he is just another strong guy with a good punch and chin. no physical ability beyond that and sure as hell no real technical skills. dude is a journeyman who got a title thanks to favorable matchmaking. more importantly he will never be much better than he is now, that much is evident. brute force cavemen stay brute force cavemen almost every time.

I don't get this. 90% of people here hate broner and Provo isn't being hyped either lol. What Lucas and ggg have/had are hype. Not broner and provo

Nobody was suggesting that Ruslan Provodnikov was the future of boxing.

Broner spouts clichés that in no way reflect his style and that makes him a thinking fighter? Broner is every bit the brawler Provodnikov is. He just has faster hands and talks about being 'slick'.
In fact, your post sums up exactly what a hype-job Broner is. He has been marketed as something he is not, false advertising from head to toe. Provodnikov has been sold as what he is.
