        anybody know what vargas' money situation looks like?

        he stuck around with that on again, off again, hinting at a comeback stuff, but i never got the impression that he was broke.



        crazy, but vargas was completely used up by his mid 20's. i was absolutely shocked to learn that he was only 36 years old. that's getting close to 15 years younger than poopkins.

          vargas was a bad, bad fighter. bad dude in general. bad in a good way, of course. good skills, very good power. unfortunately for him, he ran into two genuine hall of famers in trinidad and de la hoya, and was pretty much done by the time he got to mosley.


          it really is amazing to think that you can be all used up in your 20's in this game.


          i remember calling juan diaz the oldest 26 year old in boxing, and knowing that he'd be all done soon. diaz also had a law degree to fall back on, of course.

              Damn, nice photo!! I'll always be a proud Feroz fan for life man. I was a huge fan of him growing up, used to do the coky duckface pose he did in every photo lol. He had a big impact in my teen years in my personality, I was so coky and confident thinking I was him with power and everything lol.

              Always awesome to see this kind of photos. Feroz was no joke, great talent and heart but thrown to the lions a tad too early
