    Pretty amazing stat about Hopkins if he retires

    That in over 25 years as a pro fighter he was never stopped. I'd imagine throughout history that is a tiny, elite group of people who could say that when it was all said and done.

    That's kind of a big deal if you really think about it out of all the random things that can go wrong on any given fight.

    He might have been stopped lastnight if he was throwing more than 10 punches per round. JMM is another top guy, who's been around and that has yet to be stopped.

      He has by far the best chin of any fighter of the past 10 odd, maybe 15 years. Those shots he took from Kovalev were plain sadistic, they kind which would have knocked out anyone else. He's one of the best fighters I've ever seen.

        Man he got beat up so bad in the 12th it was hard to watch..this is honest a fight i will never watch again..he finally got beat up

          Even so, he took some monster shots that would have surely ko'd most men.

          But 25 years without being stopped, that must be a small list.

            jack britton 400 fights from an era of no mouthguards and 5oz horse hair gloves was wold class into his 40's and never stopped.

              The ref made a huge gamble last night
              1-out of respect he did not stop the fight in the 12th..he would have been justified
              2-him not stopping that fight almost got Hopkins seriously hurt

              but respect to a living legend, even at 49 he still has nice defense and takes 1 hell of a shot

                poor from the reff, should of been stopped, and any other fight it would of been.

                    He may of not gotten Knocked Out but damn did I enjoy ever moment of Hopkins getting schooled.
