Adamek is shot, I watched an interview with him last night and he looked like he's not taking this fight, or Szpilka, seriously - he only had 2 sparring partners, he still doesn't know who will be in his corner (expect his trainer, Roger Bloodworth of course). It looks like his cashing out to be honest.

Szpilka on the other hand is very motivated, he's around 101 - 102 kilos right now, which is the lightest of his career. I think he's learned a lot since he lost to Jennings. I don't think Szpilka will stop Adamek because Tomasz is one tough sob, but he will decision him.

If the Jennings fight is any indication, Szpilka is just plain not very good. He looked athletic but very raw. That's all I have seen of him though so I could be misjudging him.

I'm looking forward to Proksa's fight though. Always liked his "poor man's Martinez" style. I don't know anything about the opponent, but his record looks like that of a carefully guided prospect, so I'm not sure who is "supposed to" win there. Is it a confidence booster for Proksa or a step up fight for a prospect against a (supposedly) faded name opponent?

At this stage of his career, Adamek might and probably will lose to Szpilka imo. He's shot.

There is a bad blood beetwen Proksa and Sulecki (he's shit btw) plus Proksa never fought in Poland so it's a confidence booster for him as well. I think he'll win comfortably.

In a recent interview, Proksa said that after he gets rid of Sulecki, he'd like to fight the winner of Saunders - Eubank Jr.

Oh, a grudge match then? Sweet.

Tbh I don't think Proksa will get to fight the Saunders vs Eubank winner next. He would be a massive step up for either.

Any Germans in here that can offer their opinion on ze popularity of both Stieglitz and Sturm? If it's a close fight, who's likely to get the nod?

I've got on the draw for Sturm-Stieglitz, I'll take the draw on Adamek-Szpilka when that opens up.

I'm backing Stieglitz PTS and Szpilka PTS - 17/1!

I was wondering that too so I checked who's got more likes on Facebook and it's Sturm, he's got over 800k likes while Stieglietz's only got 7000 or so.

However, if Stieglietz wins, we'll probably get Abraham - Stieglietz IV and this fight would be huge in Germany, money wise.

Also, I think Sturm is shot to shit so Stieglietz won't need any help from judges anyway.
