Will Canelo's fat arse ever improve his mobility?

I often wonder about this. I kinda like Nelo but I'm not sure how he will progress.

His fat arse has no spring whatsoever, he's fooking cement footed and cannot bounce of a punch, he only looks good when he's facing some other crappy flat footed bum with no movement who he can tee off on.

After Mayweather humiliated his fat arse he spoke about ''learning so much'' from that fight, but I'm not sure what he could have learned , then he faces hypejob Lara and looks like a fat idiot again albeit in an extremely close fight.

Ya he's great to watch when he's teeing off on guys but he's downright bad when he fights a guy who moves a bit or can present difficult angles for him. I'm a big fan of his but I realized how limited he was when I saw him get outboxed by Alfonso gomez

No, he will never learn how to cut off the ring against a mover. He's shown twice that he can't do it. I like Canelo because he's a kid who has already proven he will fight anyone regardless of their fan base etc... But he is who he is, a tough kid with good, not great skill. But I'll watch him every time he fights because he has heart and Ballz which many of our so called best don't have.

NOPE. What we see now is what we will get with Canelo.

Not sure how his career is going to pan out either, he's had 40 something fights, still can't cut off a ring.

Too small for 160. His power isn't all that. His hand speed is good though.

I've been saying it for a while: he needs a new damn corner. Chepo isn't teaching him anything new.

He should get with Nacho while he's still around, Nacho isn't a spring chicken.

          Definitely needs a new trainer.

Nope. Just take a look at his thick a$$ ankles/legs. Canelo has some damn kankles. His mobility will never improve.

Canelo can get a new trainer. Chepo has Canelo fighting in a style that doesn't suit his skill set. Canelo can be way better than he is now. I think Canelo is pretty much a blank canvas still. A trainer like Nacho Beristain would paint a masterpiece and make Canelo one bad motherf**ker. I don't think Canelo will ever leave Chepo and Eddie Reynoso though.

Even if Canelo never gets a new trainer I think he'll be fine. Canelo will be at his peak at 160. Middleweights will be there to be hit, which suits Canelo, but hopefully his chin holds up at 160 and hopefully he gets a little bit stronger with the few extra pounds he doesn't have to shed.

I agree with others saying he needs a new trainer. If Canelo consistently learns to move forward stalking WHILE throwing he will be a much bigger threat.

His accuracy is good enough and he has solid hand speed. His style just needs to be polished up for a more consistent attack.

Irish genetics and Mexican style does not equal a slick, mobile fighter.

Canelo is best when he swarms opponents and doesn't let them breathe.

Nope, he's just an overrated fat ass idiot. That's why all these top fighters run scared ****less from him inside of a boxing ring. He has to literally chase them down or then he "can't cut off a ring."

The ones that came to fight get their ass beat. Just ask Trout, Angulo, Lopez, etc.

                    Atleast they have some balls.

Lara is so pathetic he tried to run the entire fight and still got caught with top 5 upper cuts of the year that left his forehead split in half in need of surgical repair.

                    Great thread, OP."peeleft:
