I can't believe some are trashing Khan-Alexander. Devon is a HUGE step up from Carlos Molina, Julio Diaz and even hard hitting Collazo... this is the first time in years Khan fights someone relevant...
I thought it was a very close fight, maybe a draw would have been right.
Khan did push ALOT (he always does) so deserved the points deduction.
Khan is a pro - he should have known he needed a clear UD in Petersons backyard.
Instead all he did was ***** and whine on twitter for weeks afterwards...
I think Khan lost a lot of support with all his post fight crying.
How'd you have felt if you were robbed off your hard earned titles in your opponent's backyard? as far as pushing did you see that Peterson was coming forward with his headlow all night? trying to get close to Khan's head and ruff him up on the inside?
and not to mention Peterson was on PED's that alone makes it a strong case for a NC.

Pushing your opponent away is a clear illegal technique.
Roughing up an opponent on the inside is mainly down to a referees discretion or what they don't see - look at Floyd or Bhop.
Khan has no inside game whatsoever, whereas Peterson is pretty damn good.
IMO Khan was not robbed in this fight at all, he just did not do enough to win.

Was Peterson coming forward with his head low or not??
There were even times when his head was touching Khan's face (everytime he lifted his head ) in the fight, all in all ref did a horrible job in that fight.

'Coming forward with his head low' is not illegal, it is only illegal if he uses his head deliberately to injury his opponent.
Peterson's style was all wrong for Khan, and that is why Khan lost the fight.
Yes, the referee could have controlled the fight differently but Khan has only himself to blame - he took the fight in DC.
Have you ever cut your opponent and your corner told you to rub your head into the cut in every clinch to open him up?
That's boxing. Pushing, however is for the playground.
