What say you about the fact that he has come in heavier than many of his opponents?

This move has nothing to do with his weight. It's competition, Manny can't compete with the current crop of we which is why he is moving down to avoid them. It's been five plus years and he hasn't fought any of them outside of Top Rank. This in light of Arum stating they wanted Danny Garcia then they run to lower weight classes for Jesse Vargas? Manny is about to crash and burn in a major way.
And who has Manny outweighed on figth night?

Reminds me of the countdown clock, when he claimed he was negotiating with GBP and then later admitted he had never spoke to them and had been negotiating "through" HBO. And of course Margarito said the fight was his. Just like Mosley did. And Marquez. I thought that was pretty bad but this takes the cake by a lot.

If the guy goes down to 140 and regains his old form than its good for boxing. As far as opponent go, would Danny Garcia, Mattysse, Broner not be willing to stay at 140 to fight Pac? Take away Floyd, Manny, and his opponents than I'd say there's not much difference right now between 140-147. Option: 1) Brook, Thurman, Maidana, Guerrero, Porter, winner of Khan/Alexander. 2) Garcia, Mattysse, Peterson, Provodnikov, Broner, Postol & Crawford if he moves up. People talk like there's still a chance for Pac/Mayweather, really? The real question is when was the last time a Haymon fighter fought a TR fighter or vice versa. You can speculate about opponents all day long but the Cold War between TR/GBP May have ended but where does Haymon go?
