Saul Alvarez - close to the fight I didn't think he would beat Mayweather unless he took him out early but his performance was execrable. Compare his losing performance with Matthysse's effort with injury in the previous fight. In that fight Canelo didn't look willing to take a shot to land one and that was disappointing, un-Mexican.

To be fair, he improved his pressure game v Lara but is still very much a developing fighter.
To be fair Ricky Burns is the very epitome of "over achieving".

Alvarez is still young and got time, so may be he will do something else to make up for that Mayweather fight.

I know IronDanHamza will agree with me on that one. I believed he had the skills to win a world title but I quit on him after he got knocked out by Ricky fkin Burns in 4 rounds

Never forgive him for that Burns fight. Lost £800 on that fight, if you can recall.

All Kev had to do was see the 6th round. Couldn't even do that.
Wow that's a lot of money.

Seems like we have a bit of a Kevin Mitchell fan club going on here eh. Glad you folks see it that way too. His style to me is perfect, he isn't a brawler, but boxes cute and there is action as well, so your average guy doesn't get bored.

I was so upset when I heard he didn't train properly for the Katsidis fight. I mean main event World title (sorta) fight in your favorite team's playground and you ruin your chance. Then when he lost to Burns I honestly wanted to punch the screen.

Oba Carr. When I was younger I thought he was a really good boxer. Then he ran into Felix Trinidad. Now when I go back and watch some of his fights I saw that he was really limited.

Currently, Chad Dawson. He has the skills but Ward did a number on him. He hasn't been the same since.

Jermain taylor with his bad habits
and half a s s traing and hunger to improve.

Floyd mayweather for not challenging himself

Ward for stalling/hiding behind the business side of boxing.

Wlad for not fight in vegas with fair refs.

Danny garcia for his bit c h as sness.

And rigo for not even thinking avout challenging walter in a move up.

Mikey garcia for not taking a personal fight with gamboa and having his friend crawford take of his personal bizz.

James toney . Straight up could have been top 10 . Amazing fighter sold himself short. Just like poor emanuel augustus.

                  For me Id say:

Allan Green: I always thought he would at least win a title.

                  Kevin Mitchell:
Same thing, he has fallen short twice, so hopefully he does it now considering he did win an IBF eliminator not too long ago.

                  Gabriel Rosado:
I ran in to his documentary when he was a prospect and got behind him cuz of that and was really happy how far he'd come, but again I really wanted him to win a title. He should've taken that mandatory fight he earned against the champ of the time K9 than get messed up by GGG.

Diego Chavez might become one after the Bradley bout.

Ill add more as I remember.
Kevin is a great pick. I know the guy and I know how much he lost his way. If he'd kept his mind on boxing and trained, stayed in shape, didn't drink, he'd a be a lightweight titlist already. Such a waste of talent.

I want to add chageav to this list. He had tonnes of talent, good skill and although he won a title he faded far too quickly.

Brian Sutherland. I thought he could've went a tad farther in his career. Two career rounds just seemed a little short to me.
