Comments Thread For: Golovkin vs. Chavez Jr. Fight Still Possible For 2015

CARSON, Calif. -- It seemed that WBA/IBO/WBC interim-middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (31-0, 28KOs) had his big fight, but the matchup with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. fell by the wayside.

However, the fight is not dead in the water.

Junior isn't fighting anybody, any time soon.yall better pray Canelo vs Cotto is made and Canelo wins or GGG ain't getting ahold of that green belt unless Miguel vacates.

Now I wanna see GGG become the lineal champ as much as any of his fans, but a Cotto GGG fight just isn't a competitive fight,GGG knocks out 180 pound guys,Miguel is a JMW,a small one too !

Their isnt a test at middle for him,ok he wants the money fights I understand but if he wants challenges he has to move up a division or two,it is that simple.

Cotto can't call himself the champ if he isn't prepared to face the best of the division at 160lb,none of these catch weights like 155 and 158 I hear being proposed.the guy is a warrior and his fans should be proud but his title win was overrated against a champ looking to cash out as his body is shot.

As much as I don't like to pay the big money for ppv I would be glad to pay for GGG's fights. I would love to see him in with Chavez JR next and KO him then KO COTTO then Canelo the KO Ward.
