WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (30-0, 27KOs) returns this coming Saturday night at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. He will defend his titles in a unification with WBC interim-middleweight champion Marco Antonio Rubio (59-6-1, 51KOs).
In a recent interview with krikya360.com, Golovkin made it no secret that he wants a major pay-per-view fight in 2015.
Abel Sanchez, the trainer of Golovkin, has two choices in mind. If Golovkin drops down to 154-pounds, he would like him to face WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. If Golovkin is moving up in weight to 168-pounds, he would like to see him fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
