vitali came out strong to begin the fight and did very well but lennox already took over by the time the fight was stopped. lennox may have clipped a few guys early but he was always a slow starter, he was in the same predicament against bruno, tucker, mercer and others. fell behind early only to catch up an usually win within the distance.
considering he seldom boxed guys taller than himself, he hadnt had any time to prepare for vitali as an opponent and he (vitali) came out very fast and strong early it makes sense that he would fall behind considering his tendency to be very patient and methodical. it also makes sense that he would have knocked vitali out regardless if you look at the big picture of the fight and dont get hung up on the first three rounds alone.
