Comments Thread For: Tim Bradley-Diego Chaves Set, 12/13 In Las Vegas

A busy stretch for Top Rank in the 4th quarter of 2014 ends with a terrific welterweight fight, with little more than bragging rights at stake - at least for the moment.

Tim Bradley will face Diego Chaves on December 13 at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight was confirmed as a done deal, by several representatives from Top Rank who are in Orlando for a Solo Boxeo show headlined by unbeaten lightweight prospect Felix Verdejo.

Both fighters are coming off losses, though - while each seek a victory - aren't necessarily in must-win situations in terms of remaining crowd favorites. Bradley (31-1, 12KOs) returns for the first time since dropping a decision to Manny Pacquiao in their welterweight title fight rematch this past April. [Click Here To Read More]

Gross. Chaves shouldn't be allowed back in America.

Why isn't Bradley fighting Rios, anyway?

I actually like this fight. Should be interesting; Tims head butting, Diego biting people.

Get knocked out by Thurman gets you 2 main events on HBO??

I get it, he's become somewhat of a name and will fight for chicken feed. His fight against Rios they paid him 25k, can't remember the last time an HBO fighter made those type of peanuts.

I like it as a comeback fight for Bradley. Let's him take care of business against a lesser opponent before moving on to better things.

I like the fight. Chaves is skilled. Bradley will counter Chaves' eye-gouge with his own head-butt. So, fair game.
