Like I said in another post. This is the fight that will be made before Canelo-Cotto. Since Chavez refuses to sign a fight extension, Arum would love nothing more than to see a weight drained Chavez lose his last contracted fight. He is probably hoping Canelo can knock him out. I wouldn't be surprised if Arum helps De La Hoya make things really difficult for Chavez. Huge penalties for being a half pound over at weigh-in, penalty for being over certain weight 30-days before fight. Make sure he gets caught in a traffic jam on the way to the fight, just so he has to rush with no time to warm up. LOL (That may be a tad overboard, but I wouldn't put anything past Arum) Point is, Arum doesn't mind feeding Oscar fighters that can't sell, OR fighters who won't play by his rules. Clottey, Chavez, Bradley, in that order.

I don't see how any hardcore boxing fan would want to see this fight... it'd be another forced fight that does nothing to clarify anything in boxing...
