Like I said in another post. This is the fight that will be made before Canelo-Cotto. Since Chavez refuses to sign a fight extension, Arum would love nothing more than to see a weight drained Chavez lose his last contracted fight. He is probably hoping Canelo can knock him out. I wouldn't be surprised if Arum helps De La Hoya make things really difficult for Chavez. Huge penalties for being a half pound over at weigh-in, penalty for being over certain weight 30-days before fight. Make sure he gets caught in a traffic jam on the way to the fight, just so he has to rush with no time to warm up. LOL (That may be a tad overboard, but I wouldn't put anything past Arum) Point is, Arum doesn't mind feeding Oscar fighters that can't sell, OR fighters who won't play by his rules. Clottey, Chavez, Bradley, in that order.

Chavez looks bony at 160 and Canelo looks thick at 155. Anything over 160 is not going to happen, too many fights at 160 and below for Canelo, like Qillan, Cotto, NDam. More money without fighting a cruiserweight.Comment
