If they really want to make a big statement they should jump at the chance and make a huge bid. It's probably what king wants anyway, a little chunk of the pie

Al Haymon will probably pull Beyonce Windmiller out if it goes to purse bids

Our Deontay is not the one holding up negotiations here. It is Stiverne's promoter.

Of course because Stiverne will automatically get 75% of a potentially huge purse if Roc Nation win the bid. Then we'll see what Shook Al does.

Well what happened to good business? Aren't you all for fighters making that good money?

They saw how much Roc Nation bid for a lower tier fight of Chocolate/Korobov. Stiverne is the champ and will get a larger half if it goes to purse bid... and more if he has to travel to the challengers country

Good point. It is business, and it often doesn't favor the appetite of the fans.

King might be hoping that Roc nation wins and Haymon pulls Wilder too....but if Haymon doesn't, Stiverne gets paid... especially if he puts up like his last fight and Stiverne travels.

Even if Haymon outbids, it's going to be a lot of money and Stiverne gets a majority of it too for being a traveling champion
