If Arum thought Manny could win, he would have accepted 50/50 and a 14 day cut off. That should seem apparent. Actually HD is blooming in the Phillipines.. go pay a visit and find out. Pac fights are among the highest rated there.. Not to mention the Asian market globally and asians in the U.S. supports Pac. I'm not even much of a Pac fan, just a P.R. from Brooklyn that been involved in the boxing scene since the 80's and I know this shiet. The only fighter I know here in the BK that Asians watch is Pacquiao.. And they are many. Still Mexicans, Blacks and PR's account for most U.S. sales and most Mexican's and PR's will watch Canelo vs Cotto in May UNLESS May vs Pac is on.. True facts.

Last time I checked, it was Floyd's representative Richard Schaeffer who bailed at the last minute when he and Arum were scheduled to meet with Jerry Jones in Dallas to get him to bank roll the fight. Arum ended up flying to Dallas on his lonesome and he and Jerry Jones quickly recovered from Schaeffer's abrupt and unexplained no show by setting up the Clottey fight.

How impressed do you think Jerry Jones was with Floyd's rep bailing at the last minute?

Anyway, that's all in the past now. It's water under the bridge. It is now 2014 and it's time we put our fingers in the dyke and acknowledge that 4 years later Pacquiao is desperate as ever to get the fight with Mayweather.
