Why doesn't canelo want to fight andrade?

Serious question, Canelo wants to fight a guy named Joshua Clottey, who hasn't made much noise in years. Plus, he's mainly fought at welterweight. Andrade is a rising up and comer, who holds a belt. If canelo really wants to contend at 154, why doesn't he fought andrade who has a belt?

All his fans are claiming that andrade has no chin, and that canelo would knock him out easily. Why doesnt canelo just take an easy belt then?

Obviously Cotto vs Canelo is the plan. Neither dude is about to ruin that by taking a big risk and Andrade is high risk low reward right now.

I do think Canelo will fight Andrade sometime after, provided Andrade keeps winning. I think Canelo has shown us he's willing to fight the best after taking on Trout, Floyd and Lara.

I just told you the reality of the situation. Clottey is essentially a stay busy fight for Cotto in May.

Andrade isn't at that level yet anyways. I think taking on Korobov is a good move and hopefully after he wins he can take on Golovkin.

Andrade is quick and moves a lot so style wise Andrade gives him problem and even if Canelo wins it could end up being another boring fight. Clottey is more of a showcase fight where Canelo will look incredible and after what happened against Lara it makes sense that Team Canelo looking for an opponent like Clottey. I do hope this fight won't happen though.

Exactly, I think Team Canelo knows they lost and should've lost, and are looking for easy fights now so they don't risk another loss again.
