Garcia didn't mean to stay more on the outside!!!

What Garcia meant was to come inside but to make sure that he doesn't smother his punches by getting too too close to him. This way, Maidana can extend his arms more and get better leverage on his shots and be more accurate......

Being on the outside is crazy. Garcia would never have told Maidana to stay there!

It doesn't matter who the ref is. If they allow that much holding then it removes the advantages to the fighter that needs to fight on the inside. Go check out the Devon Alexander fight. I called it from back then about Maidana. Devon held for dear life throughout the fight and it frustrated Maidana ...... and guess who was the ref? Steve Smoger!!! Smoger didn't call all that and Devon won easily. So you see, you don't need to be Floyd to beat Maidana when the ref allows the opponent to do all that holding.

Maidana had only one round he clearly won, the 4th. The 12th I gave to him as well. I can't conceivably give him any other rounds.

        - Floyd got the large ring, as pointed out by the Showtime commentators.
        - Floyd got to hold illegal all night long, as pointed out by the Showtime commentators.
        - Floyd got Maidana to wear those pillow gloves, as pointed out by the Showtime commentators.

        - Bayless was breaking them up even when Maidana was free, as pointed out by the Showtime commentators
        - Maidana got deducted a point with no warnings while Floyd holding, as pointed out by the Showtime commentators

        - Kenny Bayless had an awful night, as pointed out by the Showtime commentators

This fight gave Floyd all of the advantages while taking away Maidana's .......

What did Mayweather do though. 6th-10th rd what did he really do?

This is still lost on me. I don't get it, and not sure I ever will. No bias at all either. I want to know, maybe with video proof what Mayweather did in rds 6-10 to win them clearly?

I think you need to watch it again.

So if it was so rare, as you say, then why did Showtime bring it up throughout the fight that Floyd is doing it too much and that they AGAIN discussed it after the fight?

Dude, I can't be racist. I like Bernard Hopkins.

My equivalent of the 'I have a black friend' alibi.

C- event . The fights were duds. Bey did not win 11-12 rds vs Vasquez . The ref who scored it for Bey by 11rds had the scorecard already filled out in his mind.

                      Main Event

                      7-5 Floyd

The ref Bayless was obviously talked to about not allowing a tough inside fight . I saw an obscene amount lots of hugs and holding of arms by Floyd but no warning or acknowledgement of the acts. The pt taken from Maidana was strange. Maidana was not assertive enough with jab and had issues cutting off the ring . Floyd landed good body shots and his usual right hand but he held excessively where a pt taken away would have been proper. Floyd fought well in spots but he also did run.

So Maidana bit Floyd? I didn't see Maidana spit out his piece or is it still possible to bite someone wearing padded glove and making the fighters fingers go numb?
