Yeah but it's 2 fights to make 1.4, you know Al Haymon won't make that fight straight away...

It'll be some bull**** tripleheader first, Quillin in one, Jacobs in another and some other name in the other. All against lowly ranked guys from the division below so they have sod all chance of losing.

The fans are to blame... if people keep buying this trash then douchebags like Al Haymon will keep selling it.

So just a few promotion company who can't work with Haymon: Roc Nation(it seems like), Top Rank, Main Events (since they're sueing him), and I think Oscar will join this club soon. So do you think that a promoter like Haymon who just make fights between his fighters and doesn't willing to cooperate with other promoters still he has many top fighters because his money is good for this sport?
No offense taken, first off Haymon isn't a promoter he's an adviser.

An adviser/manager job is to looking out for the best interest of his fighters, getting them the maximum worth of their potential. There job is not to please the fans as we are not paying him to do so.

Cameron Dunkin, Sampson Lewkowicz, Pat Lynch, and countless other do this so if we don't vilify them, why jump on Haymon.

I don't begrudge anyone that dislike Al, nor do i believe everything I read about the negative press Al gets in the press. Is Al a saint..nope, no one is but to hate on a adviser who doing his job for his client is ridiculous. Again the fans satisfaction should mean nothing to him, his client financial and popularity growth should be all that matters to him.

However and this is a BIG however, when he is hurting his client bottom line and potential brand name....that is unacceptable. I have defended Haymon on countless thing because in my eyes he's doing his job for his client...neither I nor you are his client so why take it personally. But this action just because he doesn't like Hov at the expense of his young champion career is disgusting.

In this situation Haymon doesn't lose out because he's rich, Hov doesn't lose out because he's rich but Kid Chocolate loses his title and his highest payday.

        Crazy.

Seriously can someone explain it to me
                Very easy

1 - Quillin is a Haymon fighter, purse was won by Jay-Z Roc Nation ( Jay Z: a guy that Haymon definitely doesn't like, Haymon had problems with Jay and Beyonce on the past)

2 - Haymon told something to Quillin like "You are under my contract, you won't fight unless your told so"

3 - Quillin replying to Haymon something like "But this is a huge payday, my baby is just comin in, I really need the money"

4 - Haymon responds something like "Like I told you, you're under contract, don't worry I'll get you a good payday against a fighter under my stable, and wether you lose or win you'll get enough money for your baby"

Conclusion: Haymon is taking over boxing, call it what you want, but what this just happened is VERY BAD for Boxing, I really was exited to see what kind of promotion Roc Nation put to show Haymon that a new player is coming to make a hard statement, pluse WE THE BOXING FANS want to see the best fighting the best...............****

About to that is the key word. Until this happens, he is an adviser. Once he official becomes an promoter he will have to relinquish all of his client as according to one of the previsions of the Muhammad Ali act, you cannot be a boxing promoter and a manager/adviser at the same time.

Weak - ROC Nation said it best "he has a better opportunity to turn down 1.4 mil his highest pay day" WTF this is why boxing is going to the can... Korobov would take him, Roc Nation has Haymon on alert, but Greed is a bytch - There is sooo much $ to be made in boxng, the highest paid athlete is a boxer. If I was a promoter / advisor I would applaud Roc Nation / GBP / Gary Shaw / Top stank / TmT /etc, they build the sport through exposure - then more kids take up the sport, but the problem is everybody is counting each others $ . Worry about your own pocket, I cant steal what's not yours...
