had a quick scan of this thread.
basically it comes down to two points of view:

1. Dunn thinks that if you are the star it's cool for you to take unfair advantages over your opponent and will support a guy who does so and hopes said star will use said unfair advantages/weakening of the opponent to get the win.

2. Most others think taking an unfair advantage is a pussy move and that both fighters should be comfortable and in the equipment/gear they prefer so we have a nice even and above all fair fight where both guys are coming into it at their best.


think we can see how this one stands ... any need to continue the thread further?

If an unfair practice is being repeated from those times...does that make it fair/alright for current fighters to do the same?

If Usain Bolt forced all of his opponents to start the race 2 seconds after he crosses the start line would that be fair? I'm sure Floyd fans think it would be fair since Usain is A side & has worked his azz off to reach the pinnacle.

The sport needs regulations, there are bodies in the sport but none of them are regulating anything.

Again, you're avoiding the "non-approved gloves." This debacle is not just Floyd's fault. Your boy Maidana started a game he couldn't win with the first pair of gloves. If he hadn't done that, there would be no glove controversy. I admitted Floyd took it too far, but can you admit Maidana was wrong in the first place? A lot of times, I don't even see the hardcore Manny fans posting on threads about Manny. I only see them on Mayweather threads. That's why Mayweather PPVs are double the Manny PPVs. Hate it or love it, Mayweather is still on top of his game. But why would so many hope that Floyd had hired Ariza? That's because they want to say "See, it's not just my boy that's suspect, your boy is suspect too." Unfortunately (for the haters), that didn't happen. So you admit Ariza is a cheater? That's a first for you. You're boxed in with nowhere to go. If you say Ariza is a cheater, then you admit Manny ducked Mayweather and didn't take OST because he was working with a cheater. If you say Ariza wasn't a cheater, then you look ****** for questioning Floyd's association. However, thus far, Ariza came to see Floyd workout, and didn't come to train Floyd, like he did Manny, Rios, and Maidana. I suggest you just say, "Ariza is clean." Remember when I questioned Ariza's actions in Broner vs. Maidana, and you TOTALLY supported every thing Ariza did.
