Rios got called as about the 3rd or 4th option. At the time, Manny called out for an immediate rematch with Marquez. Marquez wouldn't fight. Manny gave Juan 4 fights and can't be extended one rematch from Marquez. So Juan wouldn't fight. Manny called out Bradley to settle things with; Bradley wouldn't fight Manny. In fact Bradley and Marquez BOTH took less money to fight each other that to extend a rematch to Pac. So we already know Floyd's not going to fight after Manny told him it wasn't about the money, they could both donate their entire purse to World Charity, and heard crickets from Floyd. So if Floyd, Marquez, and Bradley won't fight you, Rios was available and puffed up by the media, so they fought and embarrassed him to stay busy.

Algieri was a similar issue. Manny finally got Bradley and gave him a nice beat down. Marquez still wouldn't fight Pacquiao after Manny beat up Bradley for the 147 belt Marquez begged Bradley for a rematch for. Now Pacquiao was hoping to fight Bradley for it, but when Manny ends up with it, Juan goes into hiding again and won't fight Manny. Floyd still won't fight Manny, going on 6 years now. So Provodnikov was about to be the opponent, as he had also given Bradley the beating of his life at 147. Unfortunately, the judges boned Provo and gave the title to Algieri. Algieri was asked for an immediate rematch from Provo, and instead made himself available for a larger payday with Manny. Manny would rather fight Floyd, would rather fight Marquez, and neither will fight. So once again you fight Algieri to stay busy only because he's available and a 3rd option.

And before you go screaming like an illiterate from Las Vegas, what's wrong with Thurman! What about Guerrero! Those guys are locked down with Al Haymon, and Haymon isn't risking ANY of his stable now; he wouldn't even let Garcia and Peterson unify because he owns them both, and gave them each two of the biggest tomato cans in Boxing. In fact Oscar is meeting with Arum this weekend I just read, and they are trying to pull a Pacquiao-Danny Garcia fight together, but the problem is Haymon has rights to Garcia, and may keep that fight from happening.

So clown, don't just use this spot to throw your $.02 which is only worth $.01 at the board if you're not willing to do your homework!

Manny turned down 40 mil without batting an eye. So obviously Manny didn't agree on anything. How much money is it going to take for Manny to say yes? It won't be Floyd's biggest payday after he pays Manny 50 to 70 million. Maybe the two sides are just too far apart to even waist each other's time trying to negotiate.

Dude your argument is so overblown and with no support at all. There was no offer of $40m. You read an article where allegedly Floyd got on a phone and threw a $40m number at Manny, telling him he'd have it wired in 48 hours, and that's no offer; that's not how any of these guys fights get made or agreed upon. So to keep using that same weak storyline just shows how little you follow anything. Then to throw this $50m-$70m out there and say it wouldn't be Floyd's biggest payday certainly you're clueless. You act like you've done the math , you're on the inside. If that were so legit, then why the excuse today, as long as Arum is in the picture the fight will never happen.....
