    With three fights left to go on his current six-fight deal with SHOWTIME, undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather could have traveled in a number of different directions for his next ring appearance. Instead, he opted to revisit old business, if not for the sake of closure.

    At least that’s the working theory behind his September 13 rematch with Marcos Maidana, which will air live on Showtime Pay-Per-View. The two once again meet at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the same venue where Maidana pushed the reigning welterweight and super welterweight king to the brink before coming up just short in their May clash.

        I never wanted to see a rematch. I would rather have seen Floyd face a new challenger.

          Nothing against Maidana he's a cool guy, but we know why Floyd gave him the rematch. Floyd figured Maidana out in the later half of the first fight and he knows this is a safe payday.

              Hahahaa!! Love it. **** that *****... He lost the fight, thats why he begged Maidana for the rematch. Maidana couldnt use his power with sparring gloves so he outboxed floyd. Maidana now is used to sparring gloves so now the mission is to win again but beat the **** out of him with sparring gloves.

              WARRRRR!!!! LETS GO MAIDANA ANNIHILATE THAT *****!!!!!

                  I hope he's juiced to hell too. I want him to knock Floyd out and embarrass him. Don't care that he will test positive and the decision will be reversed, that clip will live forever and is all anyone would think about regarding the fight.
