I actually think he'd take his defeat like a man. But probably retire and blame it on age.

Not sure man. He seems like a guy that's highly strung. Anything can tip him over the edge and right now, he's in a very very comfortable position. Money, boxing career, personal life. Be interesting to see how he does react if he does lose. Alternatively like you said he could take his defeat like a man but I dont see that happening.

He might take it well...hell he might even be relieved who knows. I doubt his advisers take it well though, most of the time the people around a big name fighter won't let the loss go without attempting to spin it.

Someone mentioned 4 losses. The way I see it is Floyd lost the first Castillo fight but put on a masterclass in the rematch and won. The Oscar fight was closer but Oscar stopped doing what helped him win earlier rounds so I cant give it to Oscar. I have only seen parts of the Maidana fight so I cant comment there.

Mayweather losing his 0 against Maidana will just crush Floyd mentally. His whole boxing person/career/life is based around him being undefeated. I actually think he'll cry if Maidana beats him.

I think he'll cry as well. I think he's really insecure, that 0 is his crutch. Without out it he'd be devastated.
