Last month Mexico’s Roberto ‘Massa’ Ortíz revealed to BoxingScene that he was in line to fight Lucas Matthysse on September 6. Bull****. He mowed through big John Molina, with relative ease. Rabbit punch knock downs doesn't mean you have declined.

Matthysse's punch resistance is a bit of a question coming off the Molina fight. Once these guys start falling, they don't stop.

I don't understand the question over Matthysse's punch resistance. The knockdowns was the result of rabbit punches & Molina is a very big puncher.
He was huge at 140 & wouldn't look out of place at welterweight.
Sometimes when a fighter moves up their power increases because they aren't draining themselves. He was always one hell of a sized lightweight who proved time & time again he could turn a fight around with one shot.
There is no shame in getting dropped by Molina, he might be the biggest puncher at 140 behind Lucas.

Roberto ortiz hasn't fought any good names yet. His last three opponents all lost their previous fight before fighting ortiz. Should be a good scrap though.
