I know a lot of you don't understand this but in this game some fighters that get beaten by good fighters might prove a tougher challenge to a top p4p fighter because why...STYLES MAKE FIGHTS. Khan's length and speed present a challenge we've yet to see Floyd face. Also Mayweather doesn't fight boxers that he don't have a reach advantage over for no reason. Khan reach is close..very close.
Pretty sure Oscar was lengthy with a great jab and speed.

Amir Khan is no more of threat to Floyd than any other welter in the division.

Prove themselves? Robert Guerrero, Victor Ortiz and Marcos Maidana had to beat one bum with the initials of A.B to get the fight with you Floyd. That's not much proving.

Proving is destroying and annihilating the same opponents you faced in a better win fashion, but then you just say "he's fighting my leftovers".

It goes like this... Mayweather would destroy kahn, but kahn would destroy Pacquiao, which isc why Pacquiao and team Pacquiao wanted no part of Kahn, even though that would've made them more money.

if Khan is one of the best available, then Floyd should go ahead and retire today because there is no one out there to beat. Fortunately Khan is not and hopefully he fights Kell Brook so that he can lose badly and go back to the back of the line while he still beats his chest and acts and talks as if he the best fighter to ever come out of the UK.

And Mike Alvarado beat Rios, so whatcha' saying? Floyd fought Maidana once he got the WBA Welterweight title from Broner. Manny is fighting the WBO Jr. Welterweight Champ at a catchweight, but I don't see you talking about that.

Guererro, Ortiz and Maidana were either title holders at Welterweight or interim title holders at Welterweight. Champs vs. Champs is how it is supposed to be, is it not? Khan can't credit for what he did @ Jr. Welterweight because he left without a title, and he never beat Garcia or Peterson in a rematch (not to mention Prescott). Now Khan has a choice, beat Brook (IBF Champ) or Thurman (WBA interim Champ), and then he deserves a shot at Floyd (#1 P4P Fighter). Let's see what he does. Let's not forget he turned down a chance to fight Alexander when Alexander was a title holder too. Not cool!
