I'm not buying it, Broner can't be hitting harder than Canelo, impossible.

Haha. Pretty much. Whenever I hear this guy speaks I really don't know what to make of it. Sounds like the most unintelligent boxer ever

Im not sure what that has to do with Cotto fighting Floyd when they were both champs at 140.
WTF are you talking about? Mayweather had 3 fights at 140. demarcus corley, henry bruseles and arturo gatti. He won the title from gatti, then vacated it and moved up weight. At least look **** up before sounded dumb just like you did.

This fight was easy to make at the time. Both were with top rank. The truth is either cotto or arum did not want it. Thats that. Like i said earlier it was a duck but i understand because even though cotto was calling himself a champ he was not ready for floyd.
But when cotto is finally "ready" 3-4 years later. The #1 fighter in the world should drop everything and work with the promoter he just left and give a shot to a guy that should of been ready when he was calling himself a "140 champ". Yeah right.
Let me school you for a quick sec. In mayweathers first fight at light welterweight, he fought demarcus corley in a wbc title eliminator in may 22, 2004, his 32nd pro fight. Cotto didn't win his wbo belt until sept 11,2004 against kelson pinto, his 21st pro fight. Then mayweather fought henry bruseles and then gatti for the wbc belt in 2005. Ricky hatton was another title holder at 140 and their names where mentioned for later on in the year. Hatton even invited mayweather to his later dated fight that year, mayweather declined. Then, mayweather decided to vacate the title and move up weight class. So how the hell is cotto ducking mayweather there? Only in F L O M O S land does that happen. smh.

Hatton wasnt ready for floyd back then and he knew it which was why it happened 2 years later....hatton barely got his biggest win in beating kostya tyszu the real fighter at 140 that floyd avoided not hatton.

hatton wanted to fight floyd after floyd beat gatti. Hatton was the second best 140 behind floyd after the gatti beat down. Then floyd vacated the title and moved up weight.

Didn't Broner weigh 158lbs on fight night vs Maidana? Mayweather weighed 150. Obviously, the bigger man will usually hit harder. But hitting hard doesn't really mean anything if you don't have the skills to back up your power.

So you think floyd ducked a 140 lb ricky hatton??? Everyone knows that floyd loves that green belt and it just so happened that gatti had it which is why the fight got made... hatton who was still not really known got a fight with the lineal champ kostya tyszu and beat him in his country the UK.. hatton who fought exclusively on showtime was not a big draw as far as ratings go at first because he wasnt world reknown which was why a floyd/hatton fight didnt get made in 2005...not enough money was involved yet and if it was as big as you think it would have been in 2005 why wouldnt showtime and hbo come together to make that fight happen?? Hbo and showtime saw $$$$$ signs which was why lewis/tyson ended up getting made.
