Comments Thread For: Porter: I Don't Agree With Decision, Want Rematch

Shawn Porter (24-1-1, 15KOs) did not agree with scorecards on Saturday night. Porter was on the losing end of twelve round majority decision to mandatory British challenger Kell Brook (33-0, 22KOs), who picked up Porter's IBF welterweight title with the win.

The fight, which took place at the StubHb Center in Carson, California - saw scores of 114-114, 117-111 and 116-112. Ironically, the British judge was the one who scored the fight as a draw.

I have to be honest; I never seen Shawn Porter fight. I heard lots about him, and I have to say I'm not impressed with his style at all. Too aggressive and sloppy. Wild punching and wild. He doesn't have to agree with the decision, he lost. Cong**** to Kel, I thought they weren't going to give him the W and rob him.

      I don't agree with Porter.
I was rooting for Porter but he lost. He looked like a bull in a china shop. Kell worked him like a Matador.

It was a sloppy fight but kell did a job on him and derserved the win

Porter fought ****** smothering his own work , only punches he landed were rabbit punches in the clinch

Best man won on the night

The blueprint is written Shawn Porter. I think you are going to take a few more losses unless you can drastically improve your power as you box like an amateur with limited ring IQ...you don't bring an equaliser to a boxer that can jab, has power and can clinch.

Back to beating up 135-140 pounders. Hell, I think even Broner beats the brakes off you.

STFU Porter you had a gift decision against Diaz.

Kell battered you. YOU LOST, JUST ADMIT IT.

Porter needs Roach to straighten out his punches, he was crab swiming in there.

Its tough to fight someone who is quick and just waits on you , pops you with a few good shots then holds to DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN.

ITs hard for me to give the fight to the guy waiting and holding with some good shots here and there all the while the other guy is taking the fight to him landing shots to the body.

Porter is my man, just straighten out the shots !!! If you fight Brook again, I would feint and wait on his azzzzz and make him come to you and commit then nail his goofy sounding azzzzzzz

                  Brook sounds like ****

Porter was way too sloppy. Kell Brook did a great job countering with the left hook and jab! Clean punches and held at the right times. With that said, Porter did have an oppurtunity to win, he simply had the wrong game plan. Brook proved all of the "Experts" wrong.
