Showtime is below ESPN level at this point

Two nights ago there was a decent fight between Shafikov and Nugaev. Showtime simply can't come close to putting out the same entertainment and the higher skill level is also debatable at this point. This is two weekends in a row with absolute dreadful cards on Showtime.

In two weeks we've got the failed hypes card, featuring J'Leon Love and Badou Jack. Hahahaha.

ESPN has Austin Trout on next week.

I agree and now showtime is at it again with showcasing BS fights like Leo VS a bum cause Leo is too much of a punk to face real competition.

The fights are looking good on paper, but what's going in the ring is really sad to watch.

It's ok, Showtime will spin it like Leo just beat the number one contender.

PPV under cards aren't chosen by the network, if that was the case HBO is bellow ESPN2 since they had Andy Ruiz jr vs. Tor Hamer fighting on Pacquiao's under card last year.

These fights haven't been bad on paper besides last weeks shit fest, at least they have cards coming up. HBO doesn't have anything scheduled for 2 months.

Got nothing to do with HBO.

SHO doesn't pick PPV under cards.

Last weekend was a garbage SHO card reminiscent of the old days but it's not the norm.

This card blew as well, same with that force fed J'leon garbage.

What are you even talking about? The fights tonight were competitive matchups between champions and top contenders.

They might have been ugly to watch at times but that comes down to styles.
