    krikya360.com has been advised by sources in Puerto Rico that a fight between WBA interim featherweight champion Jesus Cuellar (24-1) of Argentina and former two division champion Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez (34-4) is being discussed for September 11th at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

      Towers crumbled on 9/11....so i guess Juanma will crumble once again as well

          I know most of his faculties as a fighter are gone by now but... **** it!! I'm a big Juanma fan, with him a 100%!! WAR JUANMAAA!!!!! Looking forward to this one hard. I always find his fights exciting as ****.

            Vargas is a world beater, so for that reason I think it was a bad move for Juanma to fight him. He needs a few easy tuneup fights. Yeah, his chin is nearly shot, but he could conceivably come back to fight mid-level opposition. I doubt he will ever get a full blown title again, but no reason he can't make a living with some easier fights in Puerto Rico.

              This is not the right fight for him then. Cuellar is a tough customer

                    A guy with crappy defense, slow reflexes and next-to-no punch resistance is (once again) matched against a puncher. It is painful to see Juanma absorb punishment at this point.
