this guy is gonna get canned.

showtime put all their money in the al haymon/floyd basket while hbo is correctly investing in action fighters like pacquiao, GGG, and kovalev.

Showtime is at a stage where they're spending hundreds of thousands of dollars for fights fans are puking at. They're in a lose-lose situation. When they do make meaningful fights, the expenses are three times more expensive. Why because Haymon fighters demand huge money when they're asked to fight each other. Even then profitability is not guaranteed as such fights are still not Canelo caliber fights when it comes to the box office.

Espinoza should get out of this dilemma ASAP and start working with other promoters/managers. He should realize that Haymon is nothing without Showtime and the reverse can't be true.

i'd rather watch canelo's icy-hot commercial on repeat than any of these fights.

We'll probably never going to see these Haymon fighters fighting each other on regular subscription. We'll most likely see them on PPV, which, I think, is what they're cooking up. Broner and Matthysse are fighting soon, but not with each other, as usual. Fans need to have nine lives to see all these fantasy fights in nine life times the way the rate is going. Or they may well just be fantasy fights.
