The subject at hand is based around an interview Floyd did where in the author's POV, Floyd tried to use his race as a means to why he didn't fight said fighters. 1. And I quote from the article "you" posted; I say you because you're probably an alt from TS:

"Case in point was a radio show that he did back in November of 2011. The host, ironically a Floyd Mayweather Jr. fan, asked him a question that many boxing fans have wanted to ask him for a long time. The question was ***8220;why won***8217;t you fight Manny Pacquiao.***8221; For those of you not in the know Manny Pacquiao is considered to be the best pound for pound boxer in the same weight class as Mayweather.

This was an affront to boxing fans, and it would***8217;ve stayed an in-house ***8220;boxing fan***8221; debate had Floyd not opened his big mouth on a radio show and turned it into an issue of race.

***8220;You***8217;re not black, are you,***8221; he questioned the DJ who was interviewing him.

***8220;No, and what does that have to do with anything?***8221; the DJ responded.

In other words, he played himself, AND used his blackness (and apparent ****phobia) as a shield to prevent his inability to answer a straightforward question. To make matters worse he equated that with being black.

So, being black is not being able to articulate a response? It apparently also means that the only thing you***8217;re good at is executing a non-sequitor argument. Thanks Mayweather
      ".

      2. I asked the question in my original post of "is the point of this thread about a radio interview Floyd did years ago. You then proceeded to accuse me of not having reading comprehension or trying to change the subject at hand, which is clearly not what I'm doing here; just speaking truth. So maybe you should check your reading comprehension instead of asking others too.

But if we're talking about the interview that was years ago, Floyd ended up fighting Shane Mosley within a year after this interview. On the other hand, Floyd did not fight Paul Williams like the DJ asked. Anyway, that's besides the point.

I will say that I didn't read the actual article at TBM.com, only what TS (yourself) posted. 3. BTW, I don't understand why you feel the need to keep repeating the name of the website... Maybe that's just your way of pointing out and reminding us that a black man wrote the article .

      4. Anyway, my whole rebuttal is to disprove your claim of me lacking reading comprehension when I clearly copied and pasted what the author said in his article to prove my original question of "Is this article about the conversation Floyd had with the DJ that was asking him to fight Shane Mosley and Paul Williams" to be legit.

      5. To answer your question of "What would be the percentages of the Black community who would stand on each side of the divide?" I don't know, maybe you should lead the crusade of "how many AA's support FMJ" and get us that answer. Me, personally, I could really care less in what percentage of African American's support FMJ. Some support him and some don't. IMO, he's done many things in the past that I don't condone or support. I'm sure you've done many things throughout your life that I don't condone or support, starting with a few of your posts in this thread; but who am I to judge
      1. I know it would be convenient for you to assume I'm an alt of the TS, because it would be more comforting for you to think you're just dealing with one person instead of having fear that there's more than one person that reads and supports the conclusions made by this article. I've read some of the posts made by the TS in other threads, and we clearly have different writing styles and vocabulary. But feel free to ask the forum mods to confirm our ISP addresses...I have no objection to them openly confirming that the TS and I are not the same person. Truth has no fear or need to hide in darkness...while your assumption that I'm an alt says a lot about you.

      2. Oh come on...there you go changing the subject again. You posted two simple questions as clearly evidenced by looking at post #2 in this thread:

"Is this article about the conversation Floyd had with the DJ that was asking him to fight Shane Mosley and Paul Williams?"
"Just so I make sure I'm understanding what's going on here, is TS main statement and point for creating this thread is that the black community doesn't accept Floyd Mayweather?"

And yet here you are now trying to rephrase your questions, redirect your rebuttal, and talk about other subjects not even mentioned in the article. Fail.

      3. Wow...I spelled out ThyBlackMan.com only TWICE (yes, only TWO times) in my reply to you, which was not at all gratuitous and was all in context within the sentences of my rebuttal, and yet you thought it too "repetitive" enough to make you squirm in discomfort, like it was two times too excessive for you to hear.

Yes, the reality of truth can hurt some times.

      4. You copied/pasted a whole lot of nothing as your rebuttal. You just provide further proof that the writer never even mentions anywhere the names "Shane Mosley" or "Paul Williams" which was your first question posed in comment #2 of this thread, which led me to question your reading comprehension ability or another ulterior motive. So you're saying your reading comprehension sees those two names, which the author never even writes anywhere in his article, and yet you completely fail to see the name "Manny Pacquiao" which the writer clearly states that the DJ was asking Floyd about, which got Floyd all "shook up" enough again to "botch" another interview, similar to how he spazzed out in the interview in the Motherland when he thought he heard Manny's name? Wow, brilliant. LOL

      5. I don't have to lead any crusade to get exact numbers of TRUE Black men versus TMT Floydiots. I can easily estimate that way more than fifty percent of the Black community uphold the true values of Black honor and justice, while the hip-hop MONEY MONEY MONEY punks are in the minority.

      Peace out, homie.

      'Nuff said.

The reason people don't like Floyd has nothing to do with the fact he is black.

People don't like Floyd because he is an inarticulate, arrogant, egotistical, duplicitous idiot.

I have black friends who just start to shake their heads whenever Floyd is on TV being interviewed.

The article is from a Black website by a black writer. The black writer is embarrassed that Floyd is bringing up the race card all because a DJ asked about him not fighting Pacquiao.

Floyd has done this several times, when someone asked him about Pacquiao he will either say you are not black or you must be Filipino?

Probably for the same reason you do but for the opposite reasons I assume.

The Rugged Man ownage is one of the epic all-time classic incidences when Floyd phones in to a radio show to talk about himself and "botches" his interview, unintentionally exposing himself again as a chump vs champ. But I don't think that's the interview that Steven Robinson is referring to.

The radio interview that I recall where he again plays the CHUMP, blatantly playing the race card and throwing ****phobic insults at the DJ as the author describes, can be found on a number of YouTube videos that pop up with the search term:
