Porter is a tank, weights or no weights he has a very large frame, look at the density of his wrist.

This is not your average guy who has bulked up, he is Tyson esque and would be built similar with or without weights.
Hes naturally very stocky and has a visible bicep vein which tells me he is very likely to be sub 10% bodyfat.
After being around bodybuilding and gyms for so long if there is any indicators of steroid use its a guys traps & delts.

He'd clearly have to of lost a lot of muscle mass to get anywhere near 147 and that would seriously take its tole and weaken a guy naturally.
No chance is he a guy carrying around 20lbs + of excess water/fat.

How he gets to 147 is a mystery.

He isn't a naturally smaller, genetic freak like a Tim Bradley. He is naturally a very broad guy.

Its surprises me he can make 147 safely even with HGH, diuretics, clen, var

I'm assuming he walked at 170+ if he went in any gym looking like that asking if he could make 147 they'd likely tell him he needed to start cutting limbs off.

He is about the same height and build of Curtis Stevens, that is how crazy it is he makes 147

      But please do explain.

nobody trusts anything involved with british boxing, from drug testing, to referees who carry fighters, to the same refs who will stop a foreign fighter after two unanswered punches.

stevens boxed at 200 lbs in the amateurs.
he was the US champ at 178 12 years ago.

porter was built up in high school for football, a much more viable sport long term than boxing. he's no longer a football player, or lifting heavy weights and eating to gain muscle.

        you literally know nothing.

Don't see how he does most things well.

His defense isn't good, he's slow both hands and feet, his reflexes aren't good, his stamina isn't good, inside fighting isn't good, his chin has question marks.

Only good thing I see that's better than decent is he seems to have quite good power.

The word "great" being in reference to anything related to Brook lol.

Dont get so excited. But we're (universal boxing fans) used to the Brits not being able to spot and speak for talent, so its somewhat understandable. The question remains: what does he do well? Tell us.

OK - Well let's just take a step back.

Now, the BBBofC orders random drug testing to everyone of their license holders and the guys in the amateur program.

I agree that some of the things in the organisation are idiotic, but do you honestly think it's Charles Giles or Robert Smith who drives around and tests people? Come on man. It's done by UK Anti-Doping.

They do tests before all championship bouts, randomly on undercard fights and everyone are subject to random blood and urine tests throughout the year.

The UK Anti-Doping have caught many boxers and athletes before and they have been banned accordingly.

I used to report news from the Ingle gym quite often, and all of their guys wouldn't stop talking about how Brook would drop solid sparring partners in training and how he looked so much better than he did in fights - that was off the record by the way.

Very interesting in hearing about this.
I don't wanna dob the boxers in but they are indeed from Sheffield side, a few from West Yorks side.

They said Brook can go all out in sparring and for that reason he hits at full pelt, there's no fear of getting hurt for him, however so does everyone else too in sparring. They don't rate his power as devastating and say the likes of Denton Vassell and Frankie Gavin hit on par.

Still its only opinions, but I can't say I know this as i've never been in with Brook myself.
