Top Rank VP Carl Moretti confirms that his company is still very interested in making a fight between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. of Mexico and WBC/WBA 'regular' super middleweight champion Carl Froch.

On Monday, Froch's promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport, told krikya360.com's Shaun Brown that discussions restarted for the potential match.

One date being looked at is January 24th in Las Vegas. Moretti stresses that his discussions for Chavez-Froch are still in the very early stages.
