Alright let's not all get hyped over someone's opinion and keep things in perspective. It was a good win by golovkin, stopped a solid contender who had never been stopped. Kudos to him, but to start claiming absurdity over this win is not the way to go about it.
You can only rank fighters once there careers are said and done, however, IMO.. golovkin is easily the #1 middleweight in the world atm.
If there was a DREAM fight that could happen (which it won't) I'd love to see Mayweather vs. Golovkin @ 160lbs.. that would be an astonishing feat if mayweather could pull it off.

Not the best 160 fighter I have seen..

But the only guys better are true greats like hagler, Hopkins, jones, toney..

I do think ggg is better than pavlik, serg, Taylor, joppy

I also think he is probably a notch below or even with McClellan, nunn, benn, Eubanks

Styles makes fights and iran barkley john mugabi would have gave ggg fits, possibly defeat him...shaw is crazy for saying ggg is the best he has seen...leonard and hearns could beat ggg imo too!! Ggg against the best middleweights ever just wouldnt add up imo.

Haha this^. I can see for myself that GGG ability really is that great. Unusually these days, his ability actually matches the hype. Time will show this to the sensitive ones/ slow learners.

Let them fight him. The other top guys dont want to fight him, not the other way around. That's clear as day to the vast majority of informed fans. He can't much influence that. In the meantime, he's consistently knocking out the guys just under the elite-level, and knocking them out with surprising ease.

But he hasnt fought anyone that is elite yet, biggest fights for him are a division north those are the guys he needs to beat to gain elite status imo..the 160 pound division is flooded with politics. I seriously doubt he moves down to fight at 54, i dont care what anyone says.

Oh come on. I'm a big fan of GGG and am very excited about his future, but this is ridiculous to say at this point. How can anyone in the sport of boxing or who knows boxing say that? I can't Imagine he really believes that.
