Mike has only himself to blame here...

He looked very good in the first half of the fight, and He probably swept the first 5 or 6 rounds easily, like he did against Carlos Takam. But then he slowed down tremendously. He really gave the fight away and he has only himself to blame here. The deduction was costly, but he made the fight close to point where the deduction made a difference.

He needs to get back in shape and lose about 10 lbs.

I gave him the first three but he definitely lost the fourth and fifth. He didn't sweep the first five or six.

No,, Perez was fat and out of shape and gassed after a good start..

I gave him the first 3 rds but then only the knockdown round.

Had Jennings winning 95-94, and Perez been in better shape and not a career high in weight, I think he could have won this pretty easily

Jennings has serious stamina, he carried that big sucker around all night. Jennings never got off first and was always on his back leg, but he didn't fade. He must lift cows for breakfast. He outworked Perez, for sure, the ref was late with the point deduction, even the commentators mentioned the riding early.

Disappointed in Jennings lackluster performance. His offense seems to have only one gear - he doesn't seem to up the tempo much and he seems content to coast through the fight doing just enough to win the rounds.

After watching this fight, I really think Wilder beats him. I could see Deontay loading up with some right hand bombs and breaking through Jennings high guard.
