However this point is mostly garbage because of the next point..
Wladimir sometimes does get hit, and he has survived some of the biggest punches from the biggest punchers in the heftiest and hardest hitting dynasty of HW boxing there has ever been and sports the lowest number of KD's/KO's with regards to the number of REAL HW fights he has been involved in, not to mention the QUALITY of the fighters he has faced as well!
He holds a hundred times a fight because he is limiting the opposing fighters chance to fire back, he also uses it to steal rests, he does this because he has poor punch resistance and stamina issues.
He doesn't ever go to the body because it increases his chances of getting caught and exposing his poor punch resistance.
Historically he throws over 3 jabs for ever power punch, a pretty incredible ratio when you think about it, he does this because he has poor punch resistance, are we getting a theme here?
Tyson Fury is not the biggest puncher in the world but he has respectable power and he can do damage. Based on the above do you deluded Klitschko fans really think he can walk through Fury's power? If he could he would have done it in the first fight. But you try and find other reasons as to why he didn't throw, most commonly that he became old over night, not the case I am afraid and deep down I don't think most of you believe that, although outwardly its a convenient excuse. He fought a fighter he couldn't use his normal tactics (which is to stay safe and at a distance, clinch up close and use his body weight to wear his opponent down), and he was not able to adjust, not only that he wasn't able to throw caution to the wind and go for it. For two reasons - first because he doesn't have the mental makeup to do that, and the reason he doesn't have that mental makeup is because his whole style is based around being cautious and protecting these quite glaring weaknesses he has and he knew if he went for it against a fighter who was still sharp, still strong and not out of the fight mentally, he would more than likely walk on to big clean shots, and I guess we know what happens after that.
Wlad has a hard enough chin to walk through Fury..
He should be able to do it next time.
Even THIS time it seemed "catching Fury" was the issue, not power or chin AT ALL!
Your entire synopsis is squarely in the realm of "Old Time Nut Baggery"..
And it is simple to understand why, when we look at who your "friends" here are and what sort of "agenda" you are trying to promote.

What you probably don't know is that if you go far enough back in time, wrestling was in fact part of boxing and by and large such stuff has been progressively removed from it more than anything.
In direct contradiction to your theory, the boxer Muhammad Ali was a far more prolific hugger than Wladimir apart from the single exception of his Povetkin fight- but then, Ali never fought any opponent 1/10th as good as Povetkin either! Then there is Ruiz and many other clinchers too. Are we gonna DQ everyone who does it? Of course not!
The mere fact Wlad hasn't been DQ'd is fact there is no cheating here.
And of course, many coaches purposely teach their boxers to clinch and hold, like "Emanuel Steward" for instance. What an idiot that guy must have been right?

Alas, I am sorry to say, you have fell squarely on the side of the Old Time Nut Bag, long long ago my friend Ned...
Or should I say...

What year was that ? 2004? Go forward 11 years to the Jennings fight where he got a point deducted for illegal holding and you will find he has illegally held and fouled all the way through his 11 years as Champ.
Ali didn't lose to Foreman when his simple holds had no effect whatsoever on Big George. And make no mistake - a simple hold that is easily broken out of is all it was. There was no enormous size , height and strength advantage there for Ali to cover his entire opponents back like a blanket and push them into the canvas.
And Ali was more shot and battle worn in that Foreman fight than Wlad was against Fury.
This is why Wlad doesn't share 1% of Ali's greatness. Not 1%. And Povetkin would be lucky if he ever entered into the top 100 , somewhere around the 80-100 mark. Such is he the one note , ordinary opponent that Wlad could not out box to save his life.
Kliitards better hope and pray he beats Wilder next , because if he doesn't , Wilder will obtain a better resume than both Povetkin and Vitalli.
Wilder also knocking out Povetkin will shatter Wlads record into dust.
