why doesn't Maidana just wear Provodnikov/Matthysse gloves?

Those two guys who fight around the same weight class are monster punchers, so why doesn't he just wear those gloves instead of insisting on the custom made horsehair nonsense? How come that hasn't been addressed, surely there must be other alternative gloves that are designed for punchers that are well within NSAC regulations.

because he cannot cut off the ring like his fellow argentine. if he cant close the gap as much as he wants he would prefer the punches he can land to do more damage.

          lol at the cluelessness.

the only thing custom about chino's gloves were the paint job. they're called everlast "MX," short for mexican. it's a mexican style puncher's glove. it's horsehair, not synthetic foam. reyes gloves are also horsehair. puncher's gloves usually have soft leather as well, which tears skin more easily.

here's cotto using an everlast MX against mayweather. you can't make this sh#t up.

Yeah, and the fact that they HAD NO PADDING IN THEM. The commission refused them. He tried to cheat plain and simple.

And when NSAC approved the red MX, what happened?

You don't let cheaters get away with anything. You punish them. That's what happened. Use some common sense, it goes a long way.

Typical Floydiot response. Why do the gloves matter anyway? Isn't Floyd a defensive wizard who can't be touched?
