Chris can move like Lara and everyone who has criticized Pac will tell you this is a stylistic problem for Manny, he can;t fight movers.
Chris is like Lara the ultimate mover, gotta give Pac mad respect and props for taking on a hungry young undefeated guy like Chris, he is giving some new blood a shot at least and a guy who presents him huge problems in the ring.
They should make this on Regular HBO though not PPV. treat the fans Arum, give us one free fight with Pacqiuao, like you used to do with Oscar from time to time.
I can't tell if you're serious or not, I kept reading and kept expecting to see a "LOL" but I never did..........dude if you are in any ways serious then you need to be banned from posting!

This is such an awful fight and an awful matchup by Arum.
This is completely lose lose.
Algieri may be inexperienced, feather fisted etc, but he is tall and rangy and could potentially be one of those fights where Pac doesn't look so good.
Wtf is Arum doing with this BS.

The PAC-Algieri fight will be at 144lb I think. Do I think this fight is great? No,.. It has very little hype if any. Although stylistically, it is interesting.
I personally think it should either be half price PPV,...or part of proceeds should go to charity... or free on HBO. That would have been a nice move from PAC and Top Rank.
TR and HBO are giving manny an easy payday while they wait for either floyd, jmm or for ODH to flesh out who will be GBP fighters. They don't want to risk manny losing before that and don't want their #1 fighter not fighting again in 2014.
Its a money grab fight. Any fighter would take a fight like this for this kind of money.

Since JMM didn't like the ideal of Macau (can't blame him),... then Algieri, Abregu, Provo made the most sense.

I actually think this has all the makings of a barn burner. Algeiri has a pretty strong and timely degree that'll surely pose all kinds of problems for Pacquiao. His masters is pretty strong too; when paired with his niceness I can see him stopping Pacquiao at any time.
