I think both fighters have the ability to adjust, we will see who is more effective.
In all the years of watching boxing, I don't remember one fighter ever doing that as fast as Floyd. He has an uncanny ability to figure guys out in a few rounds. I think we saw this in the Maidana fight in the later rounds.
The problem with Maidana's style vs Floyd, is that he throws a lot, is a brawler and pressure fighter which is great, but can't seem to beat the shoulder roll. He is doing the right thing, in looping that right hand and going hard to the body with the left hook, he's just not timing it right and is leaving himself open for a counter right.
Floyd is very smart, the right uppercut is there and yet he doesn't take it. Simply because it's a risky punch. I'm telling you, rewatch the fight and just keep an eye on Floyd, his defense is truly amazing and he hardly ever gets hit with clean shots.
I see Maidana coming out like a mad man once again, and Floyd moving even more and beating him easier in a 12 round UD.
Just my opinion.

Let that be a picture of Mayweather (real or fake) pointing a gun at anything remotely associated with Maidana. Oh, the humanity!
