    As most expected, a mega-fight between Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (44-1-1, 31KOs) and Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32KOs) will have to wait until next year. Canelo's manager and co-trainer, Jose "Chepo" Reynoso met with Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya and they decided that a fight with Cotto is better suited for May 2015. Cotto is slated to defend his WBC middleweight crown in December.

    "On Sunday we met with Oscar to discuss the future of Canelo. A fight with Cotto is a natural, but probably we should wait until May 2015," Reynoso said.

      Cotto won't be champion by May 2015. GGG will beat him. And Anne wolfe & James Kirkland gonna have a plan and he will beat the breaks off canelo.

          Don't have a problem with Canelo facing Kirkland, he's still dangerous and it should be fun while it lasts.

            He is going to fight a washed up Kirkland then Cotto when he is a year older. That is a way of ducking, why not fight Cotto 1st while he is more into his prime? And u said Canelo ducks no one.

              A fight against Kirkland should be a ****er but no way Kirkland deserves Canelo at this point. Cotto will also be an old man by the time Canelo fights him. Either way, you have to love Canelo. The guy will take on anyone in his division.

                  Should be entertaining fights. Hope Cotto and Canelo don't take any losses before they meet.

                  Has Cotto's team announced any possible opponents?
