The Best Fights of 2014 So Far

So what are they? Post them here.

The ones that stick out for me so far:

    Molina v Matthysse
    Gamboa v Crawford
    Froch v Groves II
    Guerrero v Kamegai
Cotto v Martinez, simply for the shock value

Wild fight, but some of the comments are hilarious and downright absurd. Actually, sounds like they could be some NSB frequenters.

You have guys saying stuff like 'send this video to Mayweather. Show him what real fighting is all about' and yet these guys would get utterly dominated and KTFO without him breaking an eyelash.

No fellas, what Mayweather is real fighting. What these guys gave us was an entertaining, slightly above par, barroom brawl of wildness. It was a plain street fight, which is sometimes good fun, but people comparing this type of thing kind of miss the point of what it means to be a great fighter. Putting on an entertaining, wild, back and forth fight is quite different to being a great fighter.

          damn that's some fight.

also someone mentioned Bradley/Pac II, I wouldn't rate it anywhere near a top 10, it was too one sided.

Maidana/Floyd may get a shout cos like Cotto/Martinez, it was so surprising

The sport is big enough for any type of fighter to carve his own history and lane. Mayweather is technical but there are many more styles that enrich the sport. If it weren't for "barroom brawlers" and their "wildness" the sport of boxing in the pro's would be nothing but pot shotting. Styles make fights and 2 technical fighters tend to drag fights on unless one of them has good power. Plus brawlers vs technically sound fighters are among the most enjoyable match ups that can be made. BTW if you get punched and punch back, you are fighting. Fighting is fighting what differentiates boxers is their abilities and skill, so if you don't have much of one you work with what you have.

              Brawling = Fighting

Pot Shotting over a coma inducing 12 rounds = Fighting

Mayweather is more of a boxer than a fighter. To quote Larry Merchant..."what we want to see is a bloody good fight".

                  spot on!

people act like technicians aren't fighters or that aggressive fighters can't be good boxers, that is ridiculous.

Leonard is one of the greatest technical fighters I have ever seen and he could be a great brawler too if and when he wanted to be.

Both of your post combined would be my list so far..I know there were some good ones on a lower scale..Yet for me to make my list it has to be on a grand stage..
