Yep. Best thing that could've happened to Kovalev. An easy KO would've taught him nothing. He ended up teaching B Hops a lesson for 12 continuous rounds. Amazing.

My thoughts on the fight:

1) Kovalev is a MF'n beast. Okay that's not news. We knew that. But he also outboxed BERNARD HOPKINS for 12 straight rounds. Let that sink in.

2) Incredible respect to Hopkins for the class he displayed at the end of the fight. And also just as much respect to him for going out on his shield in the 12th. He gave it a shot in the end even though he almost got literally killed for it.
