If Maidana can combine subtle tools that Garcia has implemented into his game, and still let his hands go with full steam now that he is comfortable with Floyd, it will be a long night for Floyd. While Maidana was concerned with Floyd's speed and defense, Floyd wasn't concerned with finding Maidana, he is used to hitting his opponents at will, to me this means he gave Maidana all he could with straight rights and hooks and none phased Maidana, if any did he was sure hiding it well.

Floyd will have to be very moble and active the whole fight, and blocking punches, rolling punches, and constantly pivoting will wear you down and fatigue you, it will also fatigue Maidana, but Maidana is used to having to resort to a high pace in more frequent burts, he is more used to a rough fight, and there will be no respect for Mayweather, he will try to end the fight from the first bell. If Mayweather UD's Maidana a second time I expect to see the best version of Mayweather we ever have, a Mayweather that makes the version of Mayweather that gave Marquez a clinic look like Angulo the way he would have to dance and box to keep Maidana off of him, because Maidana will be more confident, more convinced, more determined, and to be brutally honest, as crazy as it sounds, it seems like if anything Maidana is getting into Floyds head when it's usually the other way around.

Well, if Floyd says he fought the way he did because he desired too, but you disagree because he has a reputation to protect, what makes you believe everything that come's out of Chino's mouth?

    Bias.

Those punchers gloves would have put the nail firmly attached to the wood if it were punchers gloves that night. Those pillow gloves saved Floyd's night.

I will assure you Floyd won't agree, and knowing floyd he will force Maidana to agree in using Pillow gloves by bribing him millions of dollars that any lowly fighter cannot turn down for the amount of it. That is the more logical route Floyd will take. The fight might push through. That is with pillow gloves on though.. If you still don't know Floyd up to now. He doesn't fight fair, he wants all the cards stack up against his opponent, and that includes your boy Maidana. Unfair advantage thy name is Floyd my friend.

8 oz gloves are not pillows. you're being real disengenous. The gloves made no difference and won't next time. And he wasn't paid to not where his gloves.

You are a liar and a propagandist sir.

As soon as Maidana closes the distance Floyd will clinch and the ref will break it up.
Man please, there was PLENTY of infighting in the Hatton fight; he just got his ass kicked inside as well as out.

Go back and rewatch the fight without your rose colored glasses on...

[QUOTE=LoadedWraps;14743708]So you don't think Garcia and Maidana can make adjustments and utilize more feints, set traps, and cut of the ring and outowkr him. Got it.[/QUOTE

What they do will be to no avail.

I tink conditioning is key in this fight, I also think TMT (The Maidana Team) will focus on conditioning and ring generalship, and nuances that worked the first time around.

Miadana know knows he can find Floyd, he knows he can open his defense, and he knows Floyd respects him and will lose heated exchanges inside.

Floyd knows Maidanas power and that he has a good jab and how he pressures, but will he be able to get away?

Maidana was boxing well from the outside, and moved his head well, and thought Floyd landed some crisp rights and hooks that stopped Maidana in his tracks, he never really made Maidana respect him, Maidana kept coming, so I feel if Maidana comes in more conditioned that could be one of the most determining factors of the fight. When Maidana goes to work on Floyd he wins rounds by activity, pressure, and landed power shots. It takes him more punches thrown than Floyd because Floyd is faster and more accurate, but Maidana is more willing to throw, and even if Floyd was willing to go blow for blow, Maidana wins that battle remarkably with a granite chin, the heart of a lion, and sledgehammer fists.

Please. go back and watch the last half of the 9th round.

Man, what fight were you watching? Maidana should have been deducted at least a point in the first 3 rounds, well before Floyd used his first ellbow.

Both Maidana and Floyd were fouling.

Both could have been deducted points.

Either way it made no real difference.

I think Floyd soaked it up from Maidana for the first 5 rounds, he had a good look and felt his power. Then when Maidana slowed down Floyd found his timing and pot shot away quite comfortably.

Floyd would have done his homework - studied Maidana before and during the fight.

Compound this with the fact that the fight was at the MGM, Floyd took away one of the smaller risks (Gloves) knowing that there was always a risk of a KO early in the fight AND to beat Floyd you have to knock him out - he will never lose on points in Vegas.

I am not a fan of Floyd, but to label him a ducker or coward is a little harsh. He is shrewd and street smart, also surrounds himself with clever or intimidating people. He has huge, genuine talent as a boxer, but this talent does not balance with the facts that he is highly manipulative, selfish and ignorant as a human being.

Floyd is not a cheat nor is he a real Champion, he is just someone who uses every advantage, influence and tricks to maintain the precious '0'.

Floyd is giving the re-match for 1 reason.

                He knows he cannot lose.

Mayweather is one of my favorite fighters.

That said, I feel Marcos 'El Chino' Maidana dented Floyd in their first fight. So, I feel there's a strong possibility Mayweather gets knocked out in the rematch. I'm serious.
