Lol im recently realising that Provod is a real funny guy. "They go to the hospital as champions". "Maybe his feet were hurt like everytime he fights Pacquiao". He's got this subtle, yet pretty witty approach to humour for a boxer.

Just Watched Provo/Bradley & Provo/Algie; Provo Got Hosed!!!

I don't get these judges. Bradley was hurt and staggered every round. Provo never took a step backwards. Knocked him down twice early on, knocked him down in the last round, and no way were they giving that stage to a Russian.

Algie fight they want us to believe Algie can with a fight back pedaling the entire fight, hitting with oven mitts on, softer than Paulie Mags hits, while Provo moved forward the entire fighting landing very painful hammers the entire round, and you take it away from a Russian again???? Unless he knocks them out like Alvarado, he gets no decision? As much of a warrior, entertaining, and relentless Provo is, judges won't get behind this guy????

Sad to see a guy like Provo put in two spectacular performances, and get Phukked.

Last week in an article by BoxingScene's Keith Idec, former two division champion Tim Bradley said that a rematch with Ruslan Provodnikov had lost it's luster following his loss to Chris Aligieri.

“He lost to a guy no one really knew,” Bradley said of Provodnikov. “The remedy is just to out-box him. The first time I chose to slug. The second time around, it’d be even easier because I won’t stand there and fight with this guy. I’d fight my fight. But like I said before, I was waiting for this guy to build his stock, come up and earn the rematch, man. He won a championship [from Mike Alvarado], but he just lost his title. So it’s like, where do we go from here? I’ve got a loss. I’ve just suffered my first loss. This is his third loss, but at the same time I lost to one of the best fighters of this generation. So there’s a different level there."

Haha good ole Ruslan I hate he lost against Chris cause dudes like Tim and other potential matchmakers gonna hold that against him bigtime when it comes to making big fights now... Hope he rebounds big, knocks out a named opponent and back in the running to fight the best.

The truth is the truth. Refs have stopped fights for eyes damaged far less than Algieri's was. And Rusell clearly put the fix in by calling the 1st round knockdown a slip. When Bradley got up and fell again, Rusell yelled at him, "Get up, dammit!" If Algieri suffers permanent damage to that eye, people will say refs and ring doctors need to protect fighters better. Bradley suffered slurred speech for three months after Provo pounded on him! That's serious damage. Tim was out on his feet at various times. Does Ruslan have to kill him to even get a knockdown call?

And I see C-Sho immediately with the 'what's with the Bradley hate' comment. See, here's the thing... Bradley fanboys will NEVER acknowledge that that was the worst ref job Pat Russell EVER did. What was it, like TWO knockdowns in round one or 2 that Russell missed? There's 2 points, and a win for Ruslan. Bradley's good, slick boxer, strong, but weak punch. He knows he wants no part of Ruslan again. Smart move, but at least admit to the duck. Geez. Both guys clearly lost their last fight. Set em up Joe... let's see the rematch. No better time than NOW.

Can somebody put an image of Provos face after the Bradley fight. Meat grinders all the way around. Bradley is wrong. Even though his loss was to a better opponent they are both coming off losses. It's not always gonna be equal. I think this fight makes the most sense for both of them. I think Bradley still won the Provo fight even with the missed knock down. People seem to forget that Bradley absolutely boxed the **** out of Provo. But the rounds he lost he lost monumentally. I believe he only lost 3 rounds tho. This fight makes sense, everybody is waiting for it and right now is the perfect time. Also, it's understandable for Bradley to be a little causious in fighting this guy. It is a very winnable fight in which you probably gonna still get your wig split and not make as much money as fighting Cotto

the hell it makes sense that fight would bomb ya the hard core fans would watch it no doubt but we watch every fight anyway
