Maidana didn't sell a lot of PPv, so I don't think they are in a rush to rematch him..

Matthyse uses powerlock Everlast he doesn't seem to have a power problem shrugs anybody who think Maidana won can't properly score a fight. He fought a tough fight but got more for not being white washed.

May is Floyd's date. That Cotto-Canelo hype is too much. No promoter will go against Floyd. Canelo just fought a Mexican favorite in Angulo and Cotto just had a super fight with Sergio yet both combined couldnt do what Floyd does on his worst shows now. Its overrated. Casuals drive PPV buys, not hardcore fans. Floyd would still win head to head. NO promoter is going against him. The only fight that comes close is Pac-Canelo and thats not happening

Show me how Floyd won rounds 1-6 or round 11...I've watched them 5 times. Maidana deserved nothing less than a draw...

You're so f.uckin' ****** I shouldn't waste time responding to you. But I watched the fight yesterday and there's no way any competent individual had Maidana winning rounds three and four. The only rounds Maidana clearly won were five and eight. One and two could go either way, but I scored them for Maidana. And in all honesty, the first round should probably be even. And rounds 9-12, forget it. Maidana did absolutely nothing in terms of clean, effective punching. And the only rounds he "won" were because he completely swamped Floyd in terms of activity. You have to be trying pretty hard to do so if you see five rounds gor Chino. And a more realistic and accurate score is 8-4/9-3 Floyd if you don't like scoring rounds even.

Let's be perfectly clear...both fighter in that fight were dirty as hell. You can't call one boxer dirty and the other not when each man was using all the veteran tricks they could to up the other. I know folks like breaking it down into details and it looks lopsided but dirty is dirty no matter the tally. I think someone like Hopkins when he retires should get a premium cable episode to show all the little tricks..the hip slaps, the rabbit hits, the forearms, the elbows, the leaning, the footstepping, and my favorite the laces rub.

Good post, truth spoken here. I fully expected Maidana to fight dirty and force Floyd to fight his fight going in, and he succeeded, a rematch would be epic. The hype would be unreal.

I think there's quite a bit of difference between veteran tactics and repeatedly plowing somebody in the nuts, rabbit punching, headbutting, and tackling. I don't think I've once spoken negatively about how Maidana fought. He did what he had to do to try and win. And for the most part, the ref allowed him to do it. But when your trainer is caught in the corner instructing you to fight dirty. You lose the "it was a dirty fight from both sides" card to play.

Not the glove itself. It was a mere technicality because the glove wasn't in its brand new packaging because it had been customized with the Argentina sun. The ever last rep is ON RECORD saying the custom decal gloves were just as structurally sound as any other mx glove. The commission just ruled those gloves inadmissible because of that technicality to mollify prima donna Floyd.

Also following this trend of making **** up... WHERE did Maidana Knee Floyd in the balls... lmao! I'm talking to kids that can't even comprehend what they r seeing? Maidana threatened a knee but DID NOT MAKE CONTACT.
