You can put a gun to Miguel's head and he still will never fight Golovkin.

Beating a 40 year old Sergio with 2 broken knees broken elbows and broken hands is one thing, fighting a prime Triple G is something else entirely. Miguel himself knows Golovkin would kill him.

So then, did you expect Roy Jones Jr. to take on Lennox Lewis when he won a belt from Ruiz? Did not fighting Lewis make Jones a p*ssy?

      Cotto doesn't belong above 154.

Jones was a champion at heavyweight, but he wasn't the real champion since everyone knew Lewis was the champ. Cotto is calling himself the lineal middleweight champion and refusing to fight GGG. It's different because Jones never was the champ at heavyweight.

Cotto just won the title like 2 hours before you posted this. The last thing in his mind is who is he fighting next. Cotto beat the lineal champ while GGG is just beating c class fighters.

Why put him in the ring with the real man in the division when you can cherrypick guys from other divisions? I honestly dont care if he fights those 2, just don't call yourself the lineal middleweight champion and hand the belts over to GGG.
No one fight him statement is a myth. The same statement was used for Margarito and Paul Williams. Promoter sus that to promote fights.

              Agreed!!

Cotto barely was a middleweight last night IF Canelo can bring it to Lara and win that would be an absolute HUGE fight for the fans and it'd be justified to happen now without people saying Canelo is ducking A to Z...

I really hope Lara doesn't pull off the upset now and I really hope that Fraud doesn't try to make Canelo/Cotto rematches.

I think Cotton would get knocked out against Canelo, if he loses to Floyd a Canelo fight would still be there.

People saying Cotto has to fight GGG now. Cotto has moved up 20lbs from 140 already. Every one has to fight GGG, yet his fans have something against HIM moving up just 8lbs north to fight there, where damn near everyone would accept his challenge.

Cotto already took the risk and won, why take a second risk? Where are GGG's risk taking moves? Why not move up to fight Froch, Kessler, Ward, Bika? The equivalent of Cotto-Martinez for Golovkin would be like fighting Hernandez or Huck at Cruiserweight, and winning.

Cotto/Canelo makes the most sense. Huge payday for both guys, major ppv sales, Mexican vs Puerto Rican...count on it if Canelo beats Lara

What sort of horseshit is this. Do you guys really hate Golovkin so much that you have to post this sort of garbage in order to discredit him. Golovkin earns a shot at Cotto by becoming a super middleweight. Yeah that makes perfect sense.

Only trolls and simpletons would now argue that Golovkin isn't the world's best middleweight. Cotto won't fight him because he would probably get destroyed. Stop embarrassing yourselves with utterly ******ed arguments like this.
