Arum is a snake! There's a reason Oscar, Floyd, and Cotto went solo, and they all did better without him. There's a reason Rigo, Chavez, and Mikey Garcia are all trying to leave or renegotiate. Arum is poison.
i couldn't agree more..mayweather promotions is now ready for the big time..

Now GBP will become ******* central with Oscar snorting the company into bankruptcy. All these comments about Richard this and Richard that, but while Oscar got high and made a fool of himself Richard kept thing tight. We'll see who really was running the company after Floyd's next fight.......

And Schaefer apparently still has shares in GBP.
Not necessarily unless its stated in his contract that he can be forced to sell his shares if terminated as CEO (unlikely).

He doesn't have a controlling interest in the company, Oscar does, so while he has a financial stake, Oscar holds majority vote.

Mmm how are they going to work together? has this ever been done before?

All this just to work with Top Rank again? it's not worth it in my opinion. All TR has to offer is a fading Manny Pacquiao, 40 year old Juan Manuel Marquez, overrated Tim Bradley and Ruslan Provo. Oscar and Richard should of just worked their differences out and let HBO , Bob Arum and TR die out. Oscar is basically going out his way to save Bob Arum smh.
This involves a lot more than just working with Arum. I think there are far greater issues internally that probably LED to Oscar reaching out to Arum. But that's not the cause of this.

floyd is worth more than oscar right now..as of forbes last month article floyd is at 170 million (before the maidana fight) and oscar is at 200 million.

Well there goes richard. He did a good job, but u can't go against the owner when the plan changes so he did it to himself. Who knows if he cares seeing how far his head is up haymon and Floyds ass. As for gbp there is somebody out there who can do the job well, just gotta find em.And for the fans this good richard was in the way of what we all should want so one obstacle cleared but who knows how many more are out there.

There's probably no way around it if what Arum said about him looting the company dry is true. You can either contest it, or admit it and sweet talk Hoya into forgiving you, and you don't mind him firing you, instead of suing. The looting part is hard to deal with if you're the founder. There's no way you can ever trust such person no matter what.

Exactly! this is what im thinking too! Oscar is going out of his way to save Arum and his dying company smh
