George Groves says there is no chance Carl Froch finished his career at Wembley on Saturday night. He pledged to return "bigger, better and stronger".

Speaking the morning after a right hook ended Groves' world title challenge in the eighth round of their rematch, Froch suggested his beaten rival might struggle to recover from such a brutal ending.


But Groves claims he has emerged from the pair's second fight in better shape than he did from the first, when a controversial stoppage gave Froch a contest he was losing on points.

I don't doubt it one bit. I believe he can beat any SMW in the world besides Froch and Ward. Abraham, DeGale, Kessler, Stieglitz... all of them get murked by Groves. Bika... ehh... more like outpointed, since no-one looks good against him.

He's 26 FFS. He was making his pro debut when Froch was fighting Taylor. He has flaws but he has time to correct them.

Groves says this same 'bigger, better, stronger' line so many times..... enough of the talk, now it's time for him to shut up and build himself back up, get in there against other top competition and actually deliver, not be an almost-man.

Hmm, "suck some ****." It seems like half the posters on the site end their comments with some derivation of that phrase/sentiment. What is up with all the f-a-g-s on this site and their **** commentary?

He's delusional if he really thinks he could've carried on after being dropped like a sack of potatoes, leg bent backwards, still wobbly 10-20 minutes afterward. I've said it before, but if he wanted to be in the unfortunate position of being Mago II, carrying on after that punch would've put him there. He needs to be alot more humble, especially after all the crapola he said about Froch in the lead up to this one. Yeah, he'll carry on, but not at the top level. He may get a lesser title, but that's about it. He is awkward and fast, I'll give him that. But Ward (for one) would flat out own him.

I think he really knew he came up short against Froch first time around and could not be honest with himself, he couldn't accept it. Given that he is a control freak and his approach to convincing himself that he could not lose either fight, I think he will be a mental basket case.
